Jordan Shoes - Jazz finish brutal stretch with big win over Wizards

Not even Jerry Sloan knew how high the Jordan Shoes energy level would be when they played their fifth game in seven nights on Monday. But no one could have guessed the Jazz were in such a predicament when they trounced the Washington Wizards, 112-89, at the end of one of their toughest stretches of the season. Utah just returned from a four-game road trip and was playing on the second night of a back-to-back set. The Jazz (43-24) responded to the draining stretch by outworking the Wizards (21-44), who lost their season-high eighth straight game. Utah efficiently executed its offense in the half court, especially in the first half, and put together a stirring stretch of defense to defeat the Wizards.
I thought we played well with Jordan Shoes, Sloan said. You never know how your energy is going to hold up, especially after that long length of time. It was good to see our energy level real high. Carlos Boozer led the Jazz with 23 points and nine rebounds. The rest of Utah-s scoring effort was balanced, as six other players scored in double figures. Deron Williams had his fifth straight double-double and 35th of the season with 17 points and 11 assists.
I had juice, man, Boozer said. You get warmed up and get going. After the first quarter we realized how they were playing us and learned from it. I got my second wind. I was juiced up and ready to go. The game was competitive under the Jordan Shoes until late in the second quarter. The Jazz only led 44-39 with 4:17 left until halftime when they started to pull away. Boozer scored nine of Utah-s final 15 points in the second quarter with four baskets coming on either dunks or layups.
