Jordan Shoes - Wade shares the rock in OT win over Lakers
Heat guard Dwyane Wade scored 27 points in Miami-s 114-111 overtime victory against the Los Angeles Lakers with Jordan Shoes on Thursday. But that is not how he won the game for his struggling team. It was Wade-s season-high 14 assists, and his ability to resist getting into a scoring match with Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, that won the game.
That shows my teammates, I am about winning, Wade said of the assist, I am not about, I need to hit this shot because Kobe hit one. It is about making sure we all are confident and we all are good. If we do that, which is going to go a long way rather than me always being the one who has to take the Jordan Shoes and make it.
Wade was not Miami-s only hero. Center Jermaine O-Neal drew a crucial charge against Lakers superstar guard Kobe Bryant (39 points) to protect the Heat-s 111-109 lead with 18.7 seconds left in overtime. Forward Quentin Richardson had a season-best 25 points, including a big 3-pointer with 11.1 seconds left in regulation. And forward Udonis Haslem (12 points, 11 rebounds) hit a huge jumper with Jordan Shoes left in overtime to give Miami a 111-109 lead.
But this was Wade-s game. The last of Wade-s assists went to forward Udonis Haslem, whose 16-foot jumper with 54.9 seconds left in overtime basically iced the victory. The assist before that went to center Jermaine O-Neal for an alley-oop layup that gave the Heat a 109-107 lead with 1:34 left in overtime.
Wade finished the overtime with just two points (on free throws; he did not attempt a shot) and two assists. Wade has the ability to affect a game and Jordan Shoes for a win probably more than anybody in the league, said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra.
